 flimsy looking, didn't workJun 03, 2011

This clock looked great in the photo but I was disappointed by how flimsy it was when I pulled it out of the box. Not only that but it stopped working after a day. Thinking it was maybe a dud battery, I tried a new one but the clock would not keep time so I sent it back.

This is a cool looking clock. We constantly receive compliments from everyone who sees it. The only dissapointing thing was that the stars are actually made out of plastic and not wood like the original, but it doesn't take away from beauty of this clock!

The clock arrived on time. It looks great. Personally didn't feel it was "flimsy." Bought it because it looked very similar to the one my Mother had when I was a kid, and am decorating midcentury modern style in my new vacation home. Had the same issue with it only running for 24 hours, then stopping. My Dad looked it over. He removed the battery, then cleaned the contacts for the battery. It began to run, and is still running fine now.

The clock is as much a piece of art, as it is a timepiece. The retro look is a great addition to our room.
